About me
Maria Olivia Davalos Stanton is an art conservation graduate student at the NYU Institute of Fine Art’s specializing in objects conservation with a passion for ancient materials and Indigenous cultural heritage. They are completing their fourth year fellowship at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields. Maria Olivia strives to foster decolonized methodologies within the field of conservation informed by their own multicultural, bilingual identity. They love reading gothic horror, and have a one-eyed cat named Nicodemus.
