Rasha...... A lover of arts and archaeology
I currently work at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Restoration Department. My responsibilities are to preserve and protect artifacts and heritage.
I am also currently completing my doctoral studies at the College of Tourism and Hotels, Department of Museum and Heritage Studies.
The most important stage in my professional history was working for the Aga Khan Cultural Organization in archaeological sites, such as working in the Khair Pak Collection, since 2007. To 2010.
I also worked in Salah al-Din Citadel in Cairo In the Citadel as Deputy manager Laboratory with the Spanish Mission under the supervision of the Ministry of Antiquities on objects Organic and inorganic .
I also moved to work at the Museum of Islamic Art, where I worked in the department of silicate antiquities in glass, ceramic, pottery, metals, wood, . I worked on documenting objects using AutoCAD, Photoshop, and modern photography of antiquities.
I participated in research in the symposium of the University of Samarra, Faculty of Archeology in 2017 on first aid for pottery.
Then after that, I moved to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in 2019. I worked in the silicate department, transportation, packaging, I also participated in preparing temporary exhibitions with my colleagues, and currently I am in the textile department until now.
Then, I obtained a master’s degree from Cairo University in ceramic restoration in 2021.
In addition to annual participation in the winter and summer school for foreign and Egyptian students at the Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
Recently, I took a course in photography in 2023, also took the TOEFL test in 2023, and was nominated by the museum for the intermediate course at the British Institute in 2024.
