About me
Rasha Kamal joined the conservation center of the Grand Egyptian Museum GEM-CC in 2019 till now. She graduated from the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo university, Department of Restoration 2008 and had specialist diploma in conservation of inorganic artifact 2015, she had several courses in restoration and conservation from 2009 till now such as “studies in the management and maintenance of sites” from UNISCO. She started working at the Ministry of Antiquities 2009 in the excavation of workers' graves under the supervision of Zahi Hawass and the pyramid restoration department, Cooperation and organized many courses and conferences such as the day of a conservator. She participated in several conservation projects such as the grand stair of grand Egyptian museum and participated in mount projects 2022. She likes how to revive artifacts after starting conservation, feels proud to have a role in preserving history and antiquities for future generations.
