About me
Alissa Yong is a second-year Glass and Ceramics Conservation student at the University of Amsterdam. She received her bachelor’s degree from New York University with a double major in Art History and Film & TV Production. She has previously worked and interned at a number of conservation labs, including: the Barbara Goldsmith Preservation & Conservation Department at New York University, The Toledo Museum of Art, and the New-York Historical Society. In 2021, she joined Eleonora Del Federico at Pratt Institute, where she assisted in conducting pigment and binding media research on Licio Isolani’s painting collection. In 2022 she assisted in the non-destructive analysis of Roman wall paintings at Ostia Antica in order to better understand Roman painting techniques over time.
