About me
Austin Anderson is the Assistant Conservator at Glenstone Museum in Potomac, Maryland. He received his MA from the UCLA/Getty Program in the Conservation of Archaeological and Ethnographic Materials in 2020 and is a Professional Member of the American Institute for Conservation. Prior to his current position, he held a position as the Conservation Fellow at Glenstone and has also held internships at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland, Watts Towers in Los Angeles, California, the Africa Museum in Tervuren, Belgium, and the Yosemite Museum in Yosemite National Park, California. He is currently a Co-Editor for the AIC Contemporary Art Network’s Contemporary Art Review and is a board member of the Washington Conservation Guild.
