About me
Minyoung Kim is a second-year student at the Conservation Center, Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, specializing in paper conservation. She holds dual Bachelor's degrees in psychology and studio art, with a concentration in printmaking, from the State University of New York at Oneonta. At the Conservation Center, she is exploring paper, photograph, and book conservation while working as a Graduate Student Assistant for preservation in the Barbara Goldsmith Preservation and Conservation Department, located at the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library of NYU. By combining her education in paper conservation with practical experience in preventive conservation, she aspires to become a paper conservator who contributes to the community by not only conserving but also preserving paper and paper-like materials in cultural heritage.
