Chrysler Museum Chief Conservator, Mark Lewis
Mark Lewis has been the painting conservator at the Chrysler Museum of Art since 2001. Originally from California, where he earned his BA in studio art and art history. He holds an MS in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware-Winterthur Museum Program. Prior to accepting the position at the Chrysler, he was Chief Conservator at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. Institutions where he has worked include: The Harvard Art Museum, The Fitzwilliam Museum, The Pennsylvania Academy, and The Los Angeles Co. Museum of Art.
